- What is a 'tickrate'?
Your game server sends informations to your computer at a certain rate every second. A higher tickrate means that a server sends data to your computer at a higher frequency, meaning less chance of a hit not registering.
- What is 'fps' (Frames per second)?
Frames per second is the frequency that the server processes your games's images, preparing them to be sent to you. Pretty similar to the tickrate, having a higher fps increases your performances in-game.
