Developers to Conduct Second Guild Wars 2 ?Stress Test?; Need Assistance from Gamers

Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) June 27, 2012
ArenaNet, developer of the hit online multiplayer game Guild Wars 2, has announced a second stress test for the up-and-coming MMORPG in order to test the limits of its servers. The stress test will take place on Wednesday, June 27th.
Guildwars2release.net, the leading online resource for all the latest news on Guild Wars 2, explained that the stress test is a fantastic opportunity for fans of the game to have a second ?sneak peak? at how it plays, as the developers are requesting the assistance of gamers.
The stress test is ideally timed for European gamers, taking place from 10 am to 2 pm PST on June 27, although for American gamers the timing is not so good.
According to Guildwars2release.net, the developers have not wiped any characters from previous beta tests of the game, so those who took part before will be able to pick up their quest from where they left off last time.
Even so, Guildwars2release.net warn gamers that they shouldn?t get too attached to these characters, as they will almost certainly be deleted when the game is officially launched.
Dan Lim, editor of Guildwars2release.net, explained that the second stress test is taking place not because there are problems with the game?s servers, but simply because the developers want to collect more data.
?ArenaNet have apparently added some new hardware to their servers, as these were overloaded during the first stress test. Everything is expected to run perfectly this time ? we believe that this second test is little more than a data collection exercise ahead of the game?s launch, which we expect will be later this year,? explained Dan Lim.
As of yet, there has been no public release date announced for Guild Wars 2. Previously, it was strongly rumored that the game would be released to the public on June 28, although Guildwars2release.net believe that this date is looking extremely unlikely now.
?We expect that the developers will certainly give gamers some advance warning, so it?s looking likely that the official release won?t be until July or possibly even later,? added Dan Lim.

Home Care Assistance of Charleston Receives Home Care Pulse Certification

Charleston, SC (PRWEB) January 22, 2012
Home Care Assistance of Charleston, the premier provider of in-home care for seniors, is proud to announce its Home Care Pulse Certification. To achieve this certification, Home Care Assistance of Charleston was reviewed on a monthly basis in the following areas to measure overall quality care and client satisfaction: loyalty, benchmarking improvements, caregiver performance, caregiver morale, agency incentives and caregiver rewards.
?We know that sometimes it is difficult to make care decisions when you don?t have specific experience with an agency. It was our goal to provide families with the ability to make an informed decision, have tangible ways to measure quality and help them find a comfort level when choosing an agency to work with,? commented Aaron Marcum, founder of Home Care Pulse.
Home Care Assistance took steps prior to becoming Home Care Pulse certified to ensure client satisfaction and quality care. For example, care plans are tailored to clients? individual needs, including around-the-clock live-in services, with the understanding that each individual has different requirements that need to be met in a specific way. Clients are also expertly matched with a thoroughly trained, screened and conscientious caregiver who can provide this one-on-one assistance with:
Meal preparation
Light housekeeping
Medication Reminders
Shopping & Errands
Companionship
Incontinence, Bathing, Dressing
All Home Care Assistance caregivers are highly experienced, rigorously-screened, bonded, insured and covered by Worker?s Comp (meaning clients have no liability for employee injury in their home). Background checks are performed regularly including local and national criminal records, state elder abuse registry, driving records, employment authorization verification and random drug screenings. A nurse aid practice exam is also administered to test each caregiver for competency and conscientiousness.
?Knowing our clients are satisfied with their home care services is a great indicator that other clients and referral sources will be satisfied as well,? said Ryan Coker, District Manager of Home Care Assistance of Charleston. ?A lot of our energy and efforts go toward talking with our clients and their families to ensure their needs are met and their expectations are continuously exceeded.?
Every year, more adults are seeking caregiving services for their aging parents. The 85 and older population is expected to triple by 2050. Families will increasingly turn to trusted and respected brands like Home Care Assistance to help their loved ones age safely and happily at home.
