Wichita, Kansas (PRWEB) December 03, 2012

RepairLabs, who is a online mail-in device repair facility, has made it somewhat a tradition to scrape the web for the best tech gifts, which it feels would excite its target audience for each of the big holidays with Christmas time being the biggest. Many suggested shopping lists are available on the web from a number of sources, but the ones from RepairLabs are all products which they have no affiliation with or interest in promoting.

?This year we are going to be stepping up our game a bit with our awesome tech gift idea. I think we will continue to offer ideas that can satisfy any tech loving person no matter the interest?, said Anna Kraus who is the Community Manager at RepairLabs. Mrs. Kraus went on to say, ?We are more excited then ever about being able to truly bring a non-bias list of ideas to people needing to get that special someone a gift this holiday season that they will truly appreciate.”

?My favorite idea form our list was the towel warmer, because my buns get cold right when I get out of the shower?, joked Taylor Huddleston who is the Senior Repair Technician. ?In all seriousness though, we all kind of got involved in trying to provide the best possible source to find gifts that each of our staff would love to have this holiday season.?

The gift guide has an idea for parents, kids, babies, super geeks, hipsters, divas, gear heads, pet lovers, gamers, sports fanatics, and many others. As online shopping has continued to rise in the market share every year, RepairLabs is trying to provide more guides to simplify the process and will continue to do so.

RepairLabs.com is an industry leading online mail-in device repair center with an innovative, easy to use web site, certified technicians, and world-renown repair techniques. They can fix and restore most electronic products but specialize in tablet repair, cell phone repair, laptop repair, any apple product repair, game console repair and water damage restoration for most electronic products. They are also a great source for news on speculative products, controversial technical differences on devices, and general technology news. Hotel Amenities are Going High Tech with Sports Simulators

Lafayette, Colorado (PRWEB) October 25, 2012

There is a new trend gaining momentum in guest satisfaction ? many hotels are now choosing more sophisticated technology to entertain their guests. ?In the past six months we have seen a major up tick in the number of hotel owners adding a sports simulator to their hotel? says Jason Trupp, Sales manager at Sports Entertainment Specialists, Inc. ?The simulators are a great way for guests to get their entertainment while staying on the hotel’s property. It?s been a real hit with the business travelers? Trupp adds.

Traditionally, hotels have offered breakfast, basic cable, maybe a workout room and not much more. Top hotels have stepped it up with a pool and even a bar with some semblance of a night life but overall, most hotels have lacked any substantive entertainment. For the benefit of travelers everywhere, there is strong evidence that this is taking a turn for the better as hotel owners are opening their minds to the world of virtual sport simulators.

Many sport simulators are built for commercial use and can run unattended with revenue generating options. One of the the main things making them more appealing in the last 6 months is the faster return on investment due to dropping prices. For a fraction of the cost of adding a workout room, hotel owners can now offer a great amenity that provides active entertainment and a reason for their guests to come back.

Sports simulators offer hours of entertainment for people of all ages. Using real equipment, the player experiences a realistic, interactive virtual arena that draws in people to watch and creates a lot of buzz. Guests can blow off some steam while blasting pucks past a life size goalie, or grab their buddies and play a few holes of golf after dinner. In addition, many sports simulators can double as a giant home theater, so hotels can put on the big game when it is not in use.

While many hotel owners have struggled to differentiate themselves from their competition, there is a growing number that are embracing technology to get an edge. In the sports-crazy and tech-savvy culture that is part of modern day life, it was only a matter of time before these were brought together in the form of virtual sports entertainment.

About us – Sports Entertainment Specialists, Inc.

Sports Entertainment Specialists, Inc. was founded after an exhaustive analysis of the sports simulator market. In the process we became experts in the industry and have made it our mission to provide the essential guidance and service to our customers. We are a provider of virtual golf, hockey, baseball, soccer, football, racing, cycling and hunting simulators for home and business use.

Our vision is for the Saveology Plaza to serve as a catalyst for renewed growth, and the opening of Peroni?s Joint is another way that we hope to create some forward momentum and a gathering place for the Margate community.?

During The Tech Factor Challenge, a panel of expert judges will put a series of increasingly difficult questions to the college teams. During the final round, each group will be asked to solve a complex problem, giving them the chance to demonstrate their computer abilities.

?The Tech Factor Challenge is a great opportunity for us to evaluate the technical skills of young people coming out of local schools,? said Meredith Jimenez, who serves as head of corporate development for MyTechHelp and Saveology. ?We expect to hire dozens of MyTechHelp team members in the coming months, and are always on the lookout for talented individuals with deep IT knowledge and experience.?

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) April 18, 2012

TechBargains.com, a leading deal aggregation website for electronic products, breaks down three simple tech-related ways to save on monthly energy bills while being mindful of Mother Nature in time for Earth Day, Sunday, April 22.

Adjust Power Guzzling TV Settings

Televisions, particularly Plasma TVs, consume large amounts of power. Most televisions are set to ?wow? potential buyers in-store with high brightness and contrast levels. Be sure to avoid Dynamic or Vivid modes and turn TVs to Movie, Cinema or Standard mode to use less energy.

Sell, Recycle or Donate Old Gadgets

With the regular release of next generation mobile phones, MP3 players, laptops, and cameras most people accumulate gadgets they no longer need. One option is to sell the gadgets on sites like Craigslist.org or Gazelle.com. Best Buy also has a trade-in program online and in-store where you can hand over old gaming systems, televisions, musical instruments in exchange for a gift card.

Another option is to donate old mobile devices to Cell Phones For Soldiers, a non-profit organization that sells, refurbishes or recycles mobile phones and in turn provides pre-paid calling cards to military men and women overseas.

Install Energy Saving Devices That Pay for Themselves

Smart power strips and intelligent surge protectors can be purchased for under $ 30. These devices reduce the amount of standby energy consumed by televisions, computers and other consumer electronics that are plugged in 24/7. To monitor the amount of power each device consumes, invest in a Kill-a-Watt electricity monitor for under $ 20. The device determines how much power consumer electronics use and some premium models even calculate what an appliance costs to run.

?These simple energy saving tips can not only put money back in your pocket, but they help the environment,? said Yung Trang, President and Editor in Chief of TechBargains.com. ?As consumers devote more of their time and money to electronics, energy consumption becomes more of an issue. By taking a few minutes we can each do our part to painlessly and profitably start our own green initiatives at home.?
